Business Development Director

NX Health Network is a fast growing High Value PPO Network located in Phoenix, Arizona. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of something big that can truly change how we all access healthcare. We want someone who is experienced & knowledgeable in selling PPO Networks, confident in identifying high value prospects and converting them to clients, and able to excel in a fast-paced workplace!
This position is responsible for successfully developing and selling new (self-funded) business for the NX Health Network in the United States. The candidate will need to work out of our Phoenix, Arizona office.
The candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in business development/sales at a health insurance network or health insurance carrier. In-depth experience and training on selling a new network product, especially directed to self-funded prospects.
Position Summary/Requirements:
  • Identifies high value business prospects and coverts a high percentage to in-force clients.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding membership growth and revenue goals through new sales activities
  • Effectively manage and maximize client sales time to drive new business acquisition
  • Become a NX Health evangelist: Produce sales of clients that results in immediate profitability for the company
    ​(i.e. Selling clients with the ‘right makeup’ to yield quick profitability).

  • Experienced interfacing with self-funding organizations and Plans. Must have a strong knowledge base of how self-funded organizations work and function.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at broker / benefit consultant firms across the county
  • Huge additional bonus: Currently have strong relationships with many brokers / consultant firms
  • Develop market and industry sales strategies and sales plans.
  • Able to speak to anyone in any industry about NX Health’s value proposition at any time
  • Manage and report a pipeline of sales opportunities using to provide accurate forecasting --- Must know inside and out.
  • Report to leadership on business development activity and new opportunities
  • Build collaborative relationships with business development personnel from other product lines
  • Develop & enhance prospect and broker/consultant specific presentations and proposal materials
  • Self-starter: Does not need to be micro managed; has a drive to work hard and does what it takes to meet pre-determined goals
  • Able to develop and update performance standards. Reviews performance, identifies problems and takes proactive action to correct.
  • Understanding of reimbursing providers based on a “percent of Medicare” or “Medicare-Plus” reimbursement methodology.
  • Travel required to prospects/clients, when necessary
  • Salary commensurate with experience + Commission.  Rich employee benefits will be offered.
